February 2012 Recipe of the Month Winner!

Cherchies Champagne Mushrooms (Champagne Mustard, Garlic Seasoning)
This recipe was sent to us by Dick VanKuiken of Grandville, Michigan. He combines our Champagne Mustard, Garlic Seasoning (or No Salt Garlic'n Herbs) for a delicious mushroom dish that can be served as a side or as a complement to steak or chicken! Here's what Dick had to say about our products:

"You should be ashamed of yourselves for creating such a good product! These mushrooms are absolutely delicious because of the Champagne Mustard. I also dip some cheddar cheese in the Champagne Mustard. I could easily eat the entire jar at one time!"

Here's what you will need to create this wonderful dish!

1 TBSP. Canola or Olive Oil

1 TBSP. Balsamic Vinegar

1 TBSP. Sugar

1 TBSP. Cherchies® Garlic or No Salt Garlic'n Herbs Seasoning

1 Tsp. Soy Sauce

1 Tsp. Salt (optional or to taste)

1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper

1 Tsp. Cherchies® Champagne Mustard

8 oz. Fresh Sliced Mushrooms

Preparation

Mix the first eight ingredients and stir well.

Put all of the mixture into a frying pan. Add 8 oz. of fresh mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve immediately.

Makes approx. 3 - 4 servings
