Barley, red lentils, pasta and sundried tomatoes and a unique seasoning packet are the recipe for this flavorful soup! Makes approximately 9 (1 cup) servings.

What you will need:
14 cups water
4 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
2 Large Onions, chopped
Preparation:
-Beans are harvested in their natural state. Even with the most careful processing, foreign substances such as small stones may appear. Please examine contents closely.
-Rinse barley and lentils in a bowl with cold water until water is clear.
-In a large soup pot, bring water, contents of seasoning pack and barley/lentil mix to a boil.
-Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes.
-Sauté garlic and onions in olive oil. After barley and lentils have cooked, add the sautéed mixture, pasta and sundried tomatoes, bringing to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
-For the increasing number of consumers concerned about their sodium intake, we have reduced the salt in our seasoning pack. Please salt to taste.
-If you choose to: Add parmesan cheese. For a "zippier" flavor add hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
